Project: Former Fryerstown School Community Centre

Coleman Architects assisted the local community to refurbish the former Fryerstown School to create a multi-use community facility containing two meeting/activity spaces, a gallery/exhibition area, kitchen and covered outdoor activity space. These spaces are now used for a range of activities by the enthusiastic local community. In 2013 the Fryerstown Old School project was awarded the Mount Alexander Heritage Award. The former Fryerstown School is included in the Heritage Overlay of the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme.
